Amanda Ray Danko is Lost Cove Jewelry.

Amanda Ray Danko is a native of New Hampshire, often saying she grew up in a trailer and was raised by a pack of cigarettes. Elevated from the ashes by the strong influences of the adult women she sought out, one encouraged her to take her first jewelry class at age 14. One class led to an apprenticeship, pre college classes at the Museum School and Mass Art and then off to California College of Arts and Crafts at the age of 17.

A ticket bought off a cafe wall flew her to New York City and to painting at 19. Finding herself working for Susanne Bartsch and with infamous club kids. She Assisted Clyde Haygood, now stylist to the Kardashian family. Leading to an assisting job with legendary Fashion Stylist Lysa Cooper. Eventually back to making jewelry, with accounts across the country and Japan. She was offered a holiday window display job at ABC Carpet and Home. Falling in love with ABC Home, she accepted a full time job. After four years, after marriage and a baby, her and her family relocated to Asheville NC in 2008.

Opening the studio in 2014, it has been an evolving space growing and changing with other artist designers and life. Amanda Ray makes jewelry, she designs and fabricates all her own work. Her favorite earrings are the RIP PATRIARCHY tombstones and loves to make chain. She paints, sews, dyes fabric and plays the guitar. She loves the outdoors and Asheville!! She lives in North Asheville with her writer husband, two children and very old cat.
